Reports

The reporting system at WPJobster was created to draw attention to misconduct or inappropriate behaviour. 

To activate reports please go to Jobster Settings > General Settings > Report > Enable one or multiple forms of report > Save Changes

How many types of reports WPJobster theme has?

1. Report Job

2. Report Message

3. Report User

4. Report Request

We will explain how a report looks, where are the report buttons for each one and where will the admin see them.

The content of a report email can be changed from Admin > Notifications > Reports > Save Options

1. Report Job

To report a job, you will have to go on the job's page and click on 'Report this job' button. 

After reporting, the following tab will appear > choose > write description > submit the report. 

The admin will receive the reports on Dashboard > Reports > where it can be moved from pending to 'published' by clicking on 'Publish' button and 'View reported job'

Depending on the gravity of the report, the Admin can either write a violation record on the user, ban it (if he has User Ban Plugin) or delete the user from its site.

The reported jobs can be seen also in Dashboard > Jobs > Reported jobs

2. Report User

To report a user, you can go to its profile and report as follows: 

Then, the same steps as on report job have to be followed. Choose a report reason > Write report description > Submit.

The reports will be seen by the admin on Dashboard > Reports > Publish. 

The reported users can be seen also on Dashboard > Users > Reported

3. Report Request

To report a request, please go to request page and click on the 'Report Request' button

Then, the same steps as on report job have to be followed. Choose a report reason > Write report description > Submit.

The reports will be seen by the admin on Dashboard > Reports > Publish or 'View reported request'

The reported request can be found also on Dashboard > Requests > Reported requests 

4. Report messages 

To report a message, you have to go on the private message page and report it as follows:

Then, the same steps as on report job have to be followed. Choose a report reason > Write report description > Submit.

The reports will be seen by the admin on Dashboard > Reports > Publish or 'View reported message' on detail. He will see all the messages that user has sent and which one of them has been reported. 

The reports, once published, they will not be seen by the public or someone else, just the admin. This reports can be deleted or kept. 

The admin can sort the reports by category/ targets or by reason.
