How to change page builder to Gutenberg?

In the following lines, we will exemplify the transition from Brizy to Gutenberg

If you want to change theme’s editor to Gutenberg, please follow below mentioned steps:

Go to cPanel > File Manager > public_html > wp-content > themes > wpjobster or wpjobster child > Edit ‘functions.php’ and add below code > Save changes

update_option( 'main_page_url', '' ); update_option( 'main_page_url_user', '' ); update_option( 'wpjobster_levels_page_id', '' ); update_option( 'wpjobster_how_it_works_page_id', '' );

Run you site once, give it a refresh, and then you can delete the code you added in functions.php.

Once the above steps have been done, please access the following link https://example.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=PT1_admin_mnu&importdemo=gutenberg

NOTE: Change ‘example.com’ with your site’s URL.

You may be asked to log in as Admin.

After logging in, you will be redirected to Jobster > Summary and the following message will appear:

Then we go to Dashboard > Pages and we will see that the 4 Pages that were meant to be edited with Brizy are doubled as follows: 

When the import has been made with Gutenberg, the 4 pages will be automatically assigned.

The pages edited with Brizy can be kept (in case you want to go back to Brizy) or deleted as follows. 

Also, please go to Dashboard > Plugins > Deactivate/ Delete Brizy Plugin. 

How to change page builder to Brizy?

1. If the Brizy pages that have been doubled when importing with Gutenberg haven’t been deleted, you can simply go to Jobster > General Settings > Page Assignments and assign to each one of the pages (Homepage, Homepage Logged In, Levels and How it works?)  the other page than the one currently selected > Save options

2. If the pages were deleted, please proceed as follows:

If you do not have Brizy plugin installed/ activated, please do so.

You can either delete the pages with Gutenberg or keep them (in case you will ever want to change tha page builder to Gutenberg).

When the import has been made with Brizy, the 4 pages will be automatically assigned.

If the pages aren’t, simply go to Jobster > General Settings > Page assignments > Assign the other page than the currently selected.

How to change page builder to Visual Composer?

Go to cPanel > File Manager > public_html > wp-content > themes > wpjobster or wpjobster child > Edit ‘functions.php’ and add below code > Save changes

update_option( 'wpjobster_levels_page_id', '' );
update_option( 'wpjobster_how_it_works_page_id', '' );

Run you site once, give it a refresh, and then you can delete the code you added in functions.php.

You may be asked to log in as Admin.

After logging in, you will be redirected to Jobster > Summary and the following message will appear:

Also, please go to Dashboard > Plugins > Required plugins > Install/Activate WPBakery Page Builder and deactivate/ delete from Installed plugins ‘Brizy’

Then we go to Dashboard > Pages and we will see that the 4 Pages are displayed as follows:

We can tell which one are with Brizy and which ones are with Visual Composer based on when they were ‘published’. The older ones are the one imported with the old page builder. You can either delete them or keep them (in case you want to go back to Brizy or another page builder).

When the import has been made with Visual Composer, the 4 pages will be automatically assigned.

If the pages aren’t, simply go to Jobster > General Settings > Page assignments > Assign the other page than the currently selected.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you have Account Segregation plugin enabled and you have made any changes in Jobster > Account Segregation > General Settings > Redirect settings please go there and select once again the pages created with the new page builder where you want the seller/ buyer to be redirected while pending > Save
